What size should I order?
Measure the circumference around the middle of your kneecap (around the patella) with the leg slightly bent. S = 12–14″, M = 14–16″, L = 16–18″, XL = 18–20″. Most adults land in M or L. If you're between sizes, go down for more support, up for more comfort. The 90-day fit guarantee covers a free size swap if you guess wrong.
Is this medical-grade?
The compression spec (20–30 mmHg, graduated) is the medical-grade range standard for soft-tissue support. The Pivot Sleeve is made in an FDA-registered facility. It is not, however, a prescription device, and we don't market it as a treatment for any specific condition. For post-surgical rehab or significant orthopedic intervention, follow your doctor's specific recommendation; the Pivot Sleeve is designed for daily active wear.
Will it work for arthritic knees?
Many of our buyers wear the sleeve for mild-to-moderate arthritis comfort — the compression helps with the soft-tissue swelling that often accompanies arthritis, and the patellar ring provides stabilization during walking. We are not a treatment for arthritis itself, and if your knee pain is significant, please consult a doctor before relying on a sleeve. For comfortable daily wear with mild arthritic discomfort, Pivot is well-suited.
One sleeve or two?
If only one knee bothers you, one sleeve is enough — most of our single-sleeve buyers wear it on the dominant or weaker side. About 60% of our buyers end up with two (either one for each knee, or one to wear and one for laundry rotation). The 2-pack price brings the per-sleeve cost down meaningfully.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, with similar fabrics. Air dry — do not put in the dryer (heat degrades the silicone bands over time). Most owners wash every 3–4 wears. The fabric holds up to 50+ machine washes without losing compression or shape — that's our spec; we test to confirm.
What's the fit guarantee?
90-day fit guarantee. If the size is wrong, the fit is uncomfortable, or you just don't get on with the sleeve, send it back for a full refund or a free size swap. We don't ask why. The only thing we ask is that you've worn it at least three times — a sleeve needs about that long to break in to your specific knee shape.
